Launched in the Summer of 2024, our ambitious expansion and modernization project at our Saint-Georges headquarters in Beauce reflects a clear and forward-looking vision: to enhance our competitiveness, strengthen the trust of our clients and partners, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our company.
This major initiative is designed to align our facilities with new regulations allowing 60-foot trailers, while integrating cutting-edge technologies. With an investment of over $120 million, we will increase our production capacity by 33%, improve our operational agility, and solidify our reputation as an employer of choice in the region. This strategic project positions us to meet the evolving needs of the North American semi-trailer market, while remaining deeply rooted in our local community.
Summary of Work Completed
- Relocation of the parking area: The first step involved moving the parking lot to free up space for excavation work on the new headquarters building, located in a rocky escarpment, as well as for the future 50,000-square-foot warehouse.
- New access road and security: A new access road was built along the river to facilitate truck traffic, and a security post was constructed to ensure optimal site access control.
- Construction of buildings: The 8-story headquarters and the warehouse were built simultaneously and are now well underway.
- Plant expansion: The plant expansion began with an extension along the river. As of this update, excavation work is ongoing at the front of the plant to extend the production lines dedicated to our reefer and dry vans including the installation of advanced manufacturing equipment.
