Job description

Based at the Lévis Service Center, the service mechanic is responsible for service requests that must be made outside the center, or directly in the yard of the transport companies. He must have the professional qualities as well as the skills necessary to carry out the repair(s) or maintenance requested.

Qualifications and requirements

The mechanic on duty will have a mobile unit which will contain all the tools he or she may need.

  • Mechanical DEP (trailer mechanics an asset) combined with 5 years of work experience. Ten (10) years of work experience if no training.
  • PEP card in order.
  • Be able to carry out all mechanical repairs (axles, brakes, electrical systems, air systems, etc.) as well as general repairs to the various components (floors, walls, doors, etc.) on all brands and semi-trailer models.
  • Must be able to weld in all positions.
  • Resourceful, versatile, autonomous.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be respectful of the laws regarding driving and road safety.
